2021 Fulbright Applicants
Rodrigo Blanco Bravo, E’22, bioengineering; Hannah Boyce, E’22, chemical engineering; Lake Jacobs-Skolik, E’22, electrical engineering; and Carrie Tam, E’22, civil engineering and architectural studies, are among the slate of 2021 Northeastern University applicants to the Fulbright US Student Program. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is America’s premier international exchange fellowship, with a mission to promote mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. Through Fulbright, awardees can either pursue study/research opportunities or teach English in one of over 140 countries worldwide.

Hannah Boyce, E’22, Chemical Engineering Award: Fulbright Study/Research Grant, Sweden Boyce proposed a project examining the use of extracellular vesicles in drug delivery. |

Lake Jacobs-Skolik, E’22, Electrical Engineering Award: Fulbright Study/Research Grant, Australia Jacobs-Skolik proposed to use a brain-computer interface implanted in sheep to study how certain neural activation patterns are modulated by circadian rhythm; results from the proposed study will inform the development of future brain-computer interfaces for humans. |
