New Faculty Spotlight: Herbert Levine

Herbert Levine joins the Bioengineering department in January 2019 as a University Distinguished Professor with a joint appointment in Physics. He earned his PhD at Princeton University in physics. His research interests include mechanics of motility at both single cell and multicellular levels, genetic and metabolic networks underlying phenotypic changes en route to cancer metastasis, effective detection by and activation of the adaptive immune system.
